Chance for rain Wednesday in central Oklahoma

There is a chance for more rain Wednesday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Rain showers moved across central Oklahoma early Wednesday and more rain is possible during the morning hours, the weather service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast follows:

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 84. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy with a low around 65. East, southeast wind 3 to 7 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming east, southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 68. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny with a high near 89. South, southeast wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny with a high near 89.
