Two dead in wrecks on state roads
A Goltry man driving a road grader was killed when he was struck by a train in Alfalfa County on Tuesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
Jimmy Wilson, 74, of Goltry, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident about 5:10 p.m. Tuesday just south of Wheat Street in Goltry.
Wilson drove the road grader across the tracks and was struck by a train. No injuries were reported on the the train.
The patrol reports Wilson failed to yield for the oncoming train.
